Truthfully, I just about gave up on trying to put together an Easter bracelet this year. Every combination that I tried felt more Spring-like than Easter-like, and my perfectionist side wasn’t satisfied. I have no egg, bunny, or chick beads, and my pastels are also sorely lacking, with the exception of the soft blues that I use in my Winter bracelet, so nothing felt like it was clicking properly.
I finally decided to forge ahead with trying to replicate Easter egg colours and, to keep my inner perfectionist slightly happy, I added the Fireflies bead to bring some of the colours together. It still doesn’t quite scream Easter to me, but I’m learning to let go of the idea of perfection and embrace the idea of going with the flow.
